Certainly can. The one on Brier Street was owned by the Corker family and the one on Roselle Street was owned by the florist on Proctor Place (who's name evades my memory at the moment).

Yes, I remember them well they always gave value for money and i,m sure the goods seemed fresher than the plastics stuff you get from supermarkets.

I bought a book called a Hillsborough camera' its full of old photos of Hillsborough and there was one of the fruit and veg cart. I'd forgotten about them until i saw that.

I think the owner of the flower shop is Mal bingham- he used to sell fruit and veg from a barrow

The shop was owned by Nellie and Mick and Victoria were her kids (both obviously grown up now)

This was the Bingley Family; I knew the son, Mick,. who I believe inherited the business when his mother, Nellie, passed away. He had a sister, Vicky.
