Hi all, have put a similar thread on here before but thought I would have another go!!when I was a boy my mum employed mrs wheatcroft as a housekeeper, she more or less brought me up as my mum was so busy at the garage(my dad died very young)she was called Hilda and her husband was Bill, they had a daughter Janet who emigrated to australia in I think the late 60s,they were both very good to me as I was growing up,they emigrated to be with their daughter 74/75,I think the name of their road was lyminster rd parson cross,I seem to remember it was 1st or 2nd right as you came up foxhill?? I know it was before the left into birley rise road, more or less opposite the dam which has now gone and been built on I believe,I could be wrong with street names!!!anyway I would love to know what happened to them as my mum lost touch soon after they emigrated, any info most welcome, regards to all Colin.:)
