GPO as an artist. Went to see PTV3 in OCt in London Laterz.... I'll be filming the TG gig so watch out! :suspect: boyface 03-12-2004, 08:53 Ah right cool, sounds good! Which member of Clock DVA and the antigroup is it? Sounds interesting anyway….keep me posted. And I'd love to see the film you shoot of TG, what you planning to do/use it for? Try and check out Wolf Eyes when yr there too. Cheers Aaarrrggghhh 03-12-2004, 09:44 Can't reveal that yet sorry. Ah shucks I just can't be arsed to drive all that way so not bothering. Hopefully they'll do somewhere a bit more 'central' next time! Maybe System 7 tinight instead...Manchester. (Steve Hillage on the knobs)        Aaarrrggghhh 03-12-2004, 14:20 cheers (for pm) I just spent 15 yrs not really bothering with music at all!! But since coming back to Sheff (after 5 yrs in Somerset and Isle of Skye) I am back with a vengeance. Last week went to MAD PROFESSOR at The Everyone Centre (Abbeydale) (excellent gig with chest pounding bass and almost industrial beats and effects)! Before that danced like a crazy at Nik Turner's Space Ritual (all the early tribal drumming and chanting stuff...) October was PTV in London.....) Wouldn't mind going to System 7 tonite but on my own...? Have you heard of the Master Musicians of Jajouka? Check the reviews on Amazon.. How about Brian Wilson's 'Smile' - finally born after 37 YEARS gestation!!! I'm very selective now which is why i'm doing my own stuff i suppose. Check out the process behind GPO's 'Relocating the Sacred in Performance Art' http://punkcast.com/56/ thanks for reading this..... moodi [Aaarrrggghhh!!!] |
