I parked in the multi storie car park at the Halamshire hospital yesterday, the one space i found was quite tight because the car next to it was parked too far over-not because he was forced to by another badly parked car because it was against the wall and had loads of space on the other side; but i managed to sqeeze in but it didnt leave any room for that cars passenger door to open but seeing as i was within the lines i didnt think nothing of it. When i returned to my car later the owners of the car, and the car park attendent there were waiting for me. The guy was giving me greif because his wife couldnt get in the passenger side and the attendant seem to be on there side too. I sugested that he pull forward to let his wife in but he wouldnt listen. I bit my tongue and just went. Sigh!

That seems eminently reasonable.
I'd make a complaint to the hospital - I presume you'd paid good money to park there.

I think you showed a great deal of self-control, I might have suggested the offending driver brushed up on his parking skills and aimed to park correctly in the marked bay

How long did this guy and his wife wait for you?

How big was his wife?!!!!
On the governments 'petitions website' http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/
there is a petition to stop paying for parking in hospital car parks. I signed the petition yesterday. On the website put 'hospital car parking' in the search box to find the petition. If more folk signed it maybe something could be done about the parking charges.
