Drats! beat me to it
Gary Linekar MOTD :suspect: (his voice :gag:)
Tony_BLiar 01-12-2004, 16:46 all eastenders actors, Davina "foghorn" McCall, those who have got on tv via nepatism,eg. Zoe Ball, Mark Durden Smith, etc...b list celebs, anyone with ginger hair and a pulse!!!!
WallBuilder 01-12-2004, 16:47 All of the make-over experts, you know those programs where they make-over your house or worse still tell you what is 'fashionable' and a neccesary look for your house. Those two women who tell people how to dress, I saw them a while back on a chat show and thought they should take a look at themselves firstly as I think their dress sense can be bizarre to say the least.
Richard and Judy
I hate them
karen macdonald and tracy barlow.
george bush- should be top of list. geoff hoon.
ant and dec.
jennifer anniston.
anyone whose overated and false and thinks the sun shines out of their ----.
sheffexpat 01-12-2004, 22:19 There's a bloke on local tele[Borders] who looks like he's chewing a lemon.
He stares at the camera as if he's going to jump through the set and bite your face.Really miserable - looking sod.
You'd think for a well-paid job like that they'd be able to find somebody a bit more pleasant. I bet he frightens the kids.
Never smiles properly---grimaces.

Brucie is a god, I think he's great.
Charity Dingle is irritating and Emily with that pathetic squeeky little girly voice.
there is a woman who reads the news on Calendar who is allways getting it wrong..she makes me giggle...and she pronounces old as 'Owd'..bit of a notts accent. My mate told me about her and its hard to ignore it!
Agent Orange 02-12-2004, 15:23 Christa Ackroyd cos she's orange and loves nothing more than talking about how great Leeds is. Nuff said!!!
Cruella, as an ex-pat [currently exiled on the wrong side of the Pennines], I don't get Calendar anymore. However, I know exactly what you mean about the irritating Nottingham accent. I can't stand the way they speak, and in my experience [I lived in Notts from 91 -93], the people in general have a very inflated ["inflaayted", to reproduce the speech patterns] idea of themselves and their rather nasty, violent, over-rated little city. I used to find the "Ey up me duck" , "owd", as you say, for "old", and "aarrse", for "house" intolerable. You must feel like throwing a shoe at the screen!
Richard Blackwood. Probably the most useless, unfunny t*** ever to appear on TV.
Also every member of every soap ever broadcast in Britain, line them all up and shoot them, starting with Coronation Street! how this utter tripe has gone on for so long is beyond me. :gag:

I know... those women on what not to wear or whatever it's called... they look a right sight sometimes, and they go around slagging other people off... pinching money!
Those two fellas from Little Britain are pretty damn annoying too.
Phanerothyme 03-12-2004, 00:33 it has its ups and downs, but on the whole TV is incredibly, and increasingly, irritating. Might get a digibox one day - if its free with my breakfast cereal...
A.B.Yaffle 03-12-2004, 00:47 Any soap star, and Steve Coogan. :gag:
Patchy,
Why do you find Coogan annoying? Most seem to like him.
sorry snook dont agree there.
I like trinnie and susanna they may sound bitchy to you but they are only trying to help.
Many people dress in the most awefully wrong styles and esp colours that do completely nothing for them.
certain colours make people glow and other colours make them look drab and aweful.
Most of the time people do not wear colours that compliment their colouring.
Im all for people that can show us how to do this.
Ive read their book and its very good.
As for little britain -mat and david i think they're about the best comedy duo around.
sorry had to disagree.
NatalieSheff 03-12-2004, 15:40 i find "friends" very annoying all of them! the series, not my own!;)
carol vorderman really annoys me for some reason at least shes not doing any ads at the moment:)
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
If they were a couple of blokes you bumped into in a pub you'd think.....'Prats!'
And you leave my Carol alone Panda M8!
Aled jones is beginning to annoy me for some reason.
not attacking his singing capabilities or anything but he just seems smarmy.
goody goody and oh i dont know i cant put my finger on it.
maybe its because he's on a lot lately.

Especially the later series when they began to say jokes that weren't funny and have predicatable story lines.
Captain_Scarlet 04-12-2004, 08:54 John Snow & Kristian Guru-Murphy: Will they pleeeaaase let the interviewee answer to their (biased) questions !
Look Leeds newsreaders ( :nono: ), who talk about Leeds like it's the centre of the world.
Broomies ( :gag: ), Cockneys, Welsh ( :gag: ), Scotts, Scoussers ( ), all of them with their random inaudible and ununderstandable accents ! ( )
Fred Elliott... 'I say Fred Elliott' from Corrie...
I say from Corrie
Peter Stringfellow. ****** me off no end.
All these made-up celebrities like Jade Goodey, Paul Burrell, Charles Ingrham...
All the house/property/experts, but especially Colin and Justin. Aaaargh.
Philip Schofield, Fern and Lorraine Kelly from This Morning.
But worse of all... the person who should be shot on sight... the person who is most annoying of all... the person who made us laugh only once, when we read he'd set his private parts on fire... Jamie Oliver!
ladyovmanor 04-12-2004, 21:28 can anyone rember that farm food advert oh it drove me crazy (farm food prices ) oh i hated it
muddycoffee 04-12-2004, 23:31 I don't watch much TV, but I don't understand why Zoe Ball is on the Tv or radio. She is ugly, has the most grating voice I've ever heard in my life, and manages to talk so fast that you can't understand what she's saying at all. She also has no media instinct or talent whatsoever.
I used to love Phillipa Forrester, I thought she was attractive, intelligent, savvy and a great scientist. But to be hoodwinked, by genius saturist Chris Morris, into saying that a laptop computer's screen can see you. . .
The illusion it now totally shattered. I have difficulty looking at her, even worse she's bashing on all religious now. Career down the pan If ever.......
Chris evans should be shot immediately. It's for the good of the country.

Johnny Ball is her dad (I think), this may have something to do with it methinks.:suspect:
I find the Canadian bloke who does stuff like Masterchef and Through the Keyhole annoying.
It's just his accent that does me 'ead in.
That bloke annoys me who does the ads for double glazed windows -
'you buy one, you get one free, I said, you buy one you get one free'

i agree dont you just want to punch him HARD
The ad for carcraft. GOd that terrible music and the fast talking i just have to switch over or turn down the sound.
Sarah Cox makes the occasional foray into tv [usually found on the radio], and when she does it is guaranteed to be the most laughable, amateurish refuse imaginable. I am genuinely amazed that she can find employment in any broadcasting medium. There are thousands and thousands of plain, vulgar, self-obsessed, slack-jawed young chavesses around the country. Why choose her? I genuinely cannot understand most of what she is saying; she sounds like she has a mouthful of dung. I asked someone from Bolton [Cox's home town] if they could understand her. The guy replied that Bolton people too find her lazy, moronic delivery impossible to follow. It is insulting to think that the BBC view Cox as a credible, "voice of youth" presenter.
