it was bad all over today dont know why?

It was very very quiet on Langsett Road & Hillsborough today according to drivers:huh: Even the route 13/14 which has a dreadfull time keeping record was only slightly late:D, HOWEVER route 53 ( Penistone Rd) reported bad delays today:suspect:

The whole of my journey, from Shalesmoor, along Penistone Road and then up the side of Hillsborough right up until the traffic lights with Middlewood Rd took ages tonight.

I am convinced that the reason was that I had an appointment at Century Motors for 5.30 and the whole gridlock was a conspiracy to make me miss it :suspect: :hihi:

From what I heard earlier though, Penistone Rd was fairly quiet this morning...

The entire system was packed at 3 o'clock this afternoon. There was a queue on upper hanover way from the eccy road roundabout, up the university roundabout, up western bank, all the way up into crookes! No idea what was going on, but it was a bit of a nightmare!

Abbeydale Road was pretty much gridlocked at 9am this morning. Its never that bad. From where I joined near Sheldon Road junction, right down to London Road as far as I could tell.
