50 real ales from over 20 breweries, featuring rare and unusual beers
from small brewers such as Hanby, Digfield, Hoggleys and Frog Island,
and including for the first time ever, one dozen Abbeydale brews on
the house bar.

Food available 12-9pm each day

Festival open:
Wednesday 11th July 8pm-11pm
Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th July 11am-11pm
Sunday 15th July 12pm-5pm

Entry £2.50 including program and souvenier glass. Nominated festival
charity is Edale Mountain Rescue.

Friday night Blues - Robin Hoare and Friends
Saturday - traditional jazz band

Thanks for keeping us informed.

The Rising Sun is beer heaven, nothing else like it in Sheffield that I know of (or anywhere else for that matter)

Twelve hand pulled ales, and six continental draught lagers, a big selection of bottled brews (see the bottled beer 'menu') :)

I go in most nights for a couple before having a 'lasty' in my old local and have a chat with friends.

I even bumped into Mrs and Mr Strix, Xircon and Medusa in the Rising Sun a couple of days ago!

Went to Sunfest last night, was very good and got very drunk. Reccomemend it. It's on until Sunday.
