I am wanting to get a TV Tuner and was wondering if:

* AMD Sempron 2800+ 2.0Ghz with 512mb RAM is enough
* Do I need a graphics card or does it come with one?
* What would be the recommended Brand or Model to get?

It looks like you should be OK for some of the kit available. These adaptors use the graphics facilities in your PC.

As for make - you'd need to get one that suited Australian TV transmission specs, so you'd probably need to buy local, anyway, although the high end cards do, I think, support multi-national standards.

Dont get a digital tv card!

i had a 2500+ athlon and 1gb of ram and it wasnt enough. it would freeze my pc up all the time and pausing live tv took an age!

got mesen a core2duo and 2gb of ram and it flies now..
