I really want to learn to knit, now I think I can do the basic knit asI think I can remember from being young. However I hvae no idea how to start it, how do I get the wool onto the needles ?
Is there anywhere on-line I can learn ?
I'm not sure of anywhere online you can learn, but you do know a certain groups liaison who'd be more than happy to teach you...

Really ? Brilliant - thx !
This (http://www.knittinghelp.com/) site has fantastic instructional videos that you can either watch online or download (free) and watch later. It covers everything for the very basics like casting on, to more advanced techniques and most things in between.
Good luck :) .

The Wool Baa and John Lewis both do knitting classes, and I think it's better to learn from a person rather than a video, they can tell you when you're going wrong! (Not that you will) Or nag anyone you know who knits to show you. :)
