Anyone know where the best place in Sheffield is for foreign currency? I'm wanting some Croatian Kuna, but I'm not sure where the best place to go is as it isn't one of the more well know, i.e Euro etc.
Thanks. :)

Post office on Norfolk Row were advertising 0% on Saturday...you could phone them to see if they have what you need.

Cheers. :)
I would prefer somewhere that could maybe exchange there and then, don't know if post offices can do that or not?
Thomas Cook are one of the other big players. For a less common currency like Croatian you are probably going to have to order it in advance: but it should only take a day or so to arrive.
Upstairs in Marks & Spencer...was great when I went to Prague a few months ago. By far the cheapest in town other than ordering at your own bank a month in advance.

Yes I think that is the best place right now!

Yep get mine from them every time ,best rate in town.
There's the commission which is charged (or not) and the exchange rate at which you are sold the currency (which may or may not be the most competitive around); if you get a good deal on one you are probably getting a less good deal on the other.

I bought from Thomas Cook on fargate recently.
Bought Czech Koruna at 47, they bought it back at 35. That is a 25% drop!!!
What a rip off!
Fortunately I only sold back about £10 worth, but it was still annoying.
M & S for me. Got some USA and Canadian there recently and was the best rate out of about 5 places I checked.

I use the internet.
http://www.comparetravelmoney.co.uk/ I use to find the best exchange company.
http://www.x-rates.com/d/EUR/AUD/graph120.html I use to track the changes in exchange rates so i can choose the best time to buy.

Cheers for the suggestions.
I'm not going away until around the end of August or beginning of September, so I have plenty of time to have a look around.
