If you wouldn't mind a soloist with backing tracks I would be interested - I do pop/party/disco/rock covers...Have a PA and depending on when your wedding is maybe lights! (saving up for a lighting rig at the moment) PM me if interested.

Highway Child are a slick, semi-pro 11 piece soul show band (4x vocal, 2x sax, trumpet, bass, guitar, keyboards, drums) and have played in many venues in the city centre and in surrounding areas (West St Live, Under the Boardwalk, The Grapes, Trippets, The Casbah, Dove and Rainbow, The Mansfield Intake, The Snooty Fox in Wakefield, Sheffield Students Union, Moorfoot Tavern, The Apollo - to name a few). We play to over 2000 every payday weekend at West St Live, with a great response.
We are now seeking more bookings for weddings or parties. We can offer 40ish songs which can be split into a variety of sets (ideally 2 but works well as 3 too) and an infectious on stage energy that keeps people happy and dancing all night. We play songs made famous by The Blues Brothers and The Commitments as well as other soul classics and are more than happy to consult with you as a couple if you have specific songs you would like to hear.
Money can be discussed - PA available if necessary.
References would not be a problem should you require them... You can also see us at West Street Live, every payday weekend, (Fri and Sat).
PM me for more details.
Thanks!

We had a Ceilidhs (Kaylee) band called Roger the Badger - Ceilidhs & barn dances.
People who never danced got up to have a go it was wonderful. Even though its two years ago now i can still remember the fun of getting it all wrong.
