Hi, I don't have many friends interested in travelling around U.K. as they have all been here longer than me. I was wondering if travelling to places under "Give it a Go" programme run by the Sheffield students union is a good idea? Has anyone tried it? I guess it is an easy way to see many places but I am a bit afraid as I might feel isolated not knowing anyone in the group.

I am not very good at socialising which makes me a bit tentative to try it :blush: Also, Is there any other group or society that may be more appropriate?
