Does it mean use 2 strands and knit them together? Or something else?

I thought that when it says 'hold yarn double throughout' it means to hold 2 strands together and knit with them as though they are one strand.

I love that bag! That is definitely on my list of things to make and do. Now, I think I will need to start another sheet of A3...............

I'll keep you updated with pics. I'm using some Lion Brand wool cos its all i could find in solid black and white shades. I got the yarn from here (http://www.ekmpowershop3.com/ekmps/shops/zulutsen/index.asp) it was very quick service.
