Why is it that their so good at sports?

They did a number on England in the Rugby Union. They battered Great Britain at Rugby League which was a total embarrassment.

The Ashes series is next year and they will probably wallop us in that as well, as usual. :(

Not too sure that they will wallop us at the cricket this time, will be close I think. However, I am preparing my hat with a nice salad garnish and chips ready to eat after they do;)

Not sure how close it will be, unfortunately. Despite having their weakest team in a long while they still seem to be able to annihilate just about everyone - look at the recent series in India, or the current one against New Zealand (two pretty good sides). I wouldn't put any cash on an England series win, anyway.

I agree. Although we have a much better and the team we currently have are capable of beating most teams I feel that the Aussies are still the best team in the world and will trounce us again.

Surely there must be a sport we can beat them in? What about Water Polo? Knitting? I hear England has a mean cross stitch team:hihi:

The difference between cricket and rugby is that this Australian Cricket team are one of the best there has ever been. While International rugby union is not especially strong at the moment.

England (cricket) are on current form the second best team in the world (as I believe should be confirmed in the forthcoming series Vs South Africa) and are the best they have been since the sixties. They are just unlucky that there happens to be a better team around.

Having said that I think it should be close next summer, and looking forward to watching it.
