We are of on our merry travels to Santa Pod raceway this weekend for the 2007 Classic Ford show. We are taking the XR4i and the Mk1 fiesta again and i have drawn the short straw and have to take the Fiesta. Never mind its only about 100 miles each way!

wish i could go, just been down to billing for the NSRA show this weekend, was fantastic, unfortunately my bank account won't stretch to another show, gotta save for retro rides in august

Not too sure if my bank account will stretch yet. It cost us over £100 in petrol last year before we added anything else!

We made it back in one piece. The only things which broke/fell off were the sun visor in the Sierra and the window winder handle in the Fiesta so another successful weekend at Santa Pod. The Sierra XR4i went down the drag strip and pulled a respectable time of 16.7 seconds.

Fantastic Show. Loads of photos of drag strip on the Blackett Photography website. They are the official Santa Pod photographers. We have ordered some of the Sierra going down there.
