I wish people would learn and stop leaving their dogs in cars unattended. Its the same as leaving kids, and I for one wouldnt risk it!

I totally agree and mores to the point, I sincerely hope he didn't leave it in there with the windows shut in this recent spell of warm weather.

Obviously (to stop anyone closing this thread) we wish the owner all the luck finding his dog.
However, let this be a warning to all pet owners to not leave their pets unattended. Whether it be in a car or outside a shop (Im sure no-one on here does this but there are plenty that do!)

That poor man :(

The dog was in a trailer so I assume there were no windows.

I hope he gets Duchess back, sounds like he's distraught, I know I would be.

Actually Lotti, i think the tools were in the trailer and the dog in the Range Rover:) . Understand the concern about leaving dogs unattended, but in this case it's possible the guy was popping to a house to hand a qoute or something such like, and unsure how customers may be around dogs. I think he lovingly takes his dogs on his jobs, but show some possible respect to his customers by not openly taking dog along in case not appreciated (Maybe) I'm sure he'll have left windows ajar, easier for theiving rats to have pinched car:( . Hope Duchess is returned safe and well very soon.:)

Oh yeah - it read differently when I was tired!

I'll be the first to say my dogs have been left unattended in the car - when I've put them in the car then run back to the house to lock up or get something I've forgotten - I've always locked it and it's not been too far from me, but easy enough for someone to steal.

Blaming him for leaving the dog in the car isn't really fair imo - sometimes there is no alternative.

I know that tired feeling, only too well!:) It's that, ''If only!'' Isn't it. We've all done it and keep on doing it, if the gentleman is as genuine as it reads, he comes across as considerate and caring, certainly in no way neglective or Uncaring. Hope as previously said you get her back soon.:hihi:

I didnt blame him, I just said It should be a warning to the people that do it. It only takes a second. Just food for thought thats all everyone :)
