The bands are Crowded Scouse and Squeezed, and there's no prizes for guessing which bands they are tributes to.
I think it might be a good idea to meet in the Bankers Draft from 7 pm onwards, and then pop across to the Boardwalk some time before 8.
Are we all up for it?

Good night out but the gig got cancelled :( Shame as we were looking forward to it. We still managed a good night out finishing in Sanctuary.

Great to meet Christian, Meaks, Lindos and Feargal for the first time.

That was an "interesting" night out, the Boardwalk gig was cancelled so we went to Under the Boardwalk and listened to a few live numbers - started off a 1,000,000 decibels and got louder. Even when the group stopped playing our "quite" little corner had a 6ft high speaker at the side of our table playing background music. Eventually we found some Sanctuary in the aptly named Sanctuary. All in all a lovely evening and a lovely walk (read stagger) home in the warm summer evening.

Sorry your gig got cancelled, but having discovered the Sanctuary, maybe some of you would like to come along for an unofficial forum meet there on 20 June when a special cocktails menu will be provided specially for us!

thanks for the information - unfortunately this clashes with the Midsummer overnight walk which starts out on 20 June. So I think I will have to exchange the Tequila sunrise for a Totley sunrise. Couldn't pursuade them to open up at 5:00am on the 21st then I could enjoy a cocktail with my Full English breakfast with extra black pudding!
