Just a quick one, I went to Embrace a week ago; quite excited to see what it was like inside. Anyway - got inside the club, saw the same big stairs that were there at Kingdom, walked in to see basically a sexed up version of Kingdom.

I wasn't really impressed at all, think I might stayat GC for my weekend plans; maybe thats why Embrace spam my e-mail with tickets for nights there.

Anyone else get that btw? 3 days before they send me a ticket, then they send the same one 2 days before, then a day before and AGAIN on the same day. 4 times for one night! Thank god MSN spammed it D:

i know what you mean, it does look amazing inside, but what can you expect them to do in the 4 months or whatever they had, that would change it so much that you wouldnt recognise it? I for one, think they did a better job of a refurbishment than gatecraher did on their club....

think they had 6 months or so for the refurb?

I think the place looks great myself. I've been in every saturday night since it opened. In my opinion GC is just a watered down version of what it used to be. It's so nice to have a decent club in Sheffield. Yes Mingdom was crap, but the customers are soooo much nicer in Embrace!

I've been in quite a few weeks now and everyone in our group of girls love embrace....Its packed full of excellent rooms and we would go in twice a week(if we had the money).

They still have the dancers in the main room but there is now a bar where the stage used to be and there is a stage area with a podium that comes out a little bit further forward that the dancers go on.
