I live in S10 I am a confident rider considering buying but concerned about cost and commitment went out riding with a friend today on a horse that is young and no one wants to ride. Problem - in Rutland Leics would like something closer to home, anyone want any help exercising and keeping their horse? Let me know if so:D I live S10 area

Try putting an ad in Horse and Rider in Crookes or at a livery yard, I know Cloughfields in Crosspool has them up in the tack room occasionaly, hope you find somewhere! Just out of interest, and so I can ask around, how much experience have you had riding? and looking after horses? Are you happy to ride on the roads? What size horse would you be looking for?

Hi thanks for this, I used to own quite a few horses, a bit out of it now had a family and things so haven't ridden for about 6 years. Would be looking for something 15hand plus happy to go out on roads and hacks, I am quite confident but not very fit and a bit rusty. I am fine with the basics of horse care, not after competing and death rides on the cross country track anymore I am mid 30s so feel a bit old for that.
