Just wondered if anyone had been to candytown on London rd recently?? thinking of going with some friends tonight but not been for years so wondered if the food was still as good?

Went two weeks ago and a the week before that - still excellent!

Candytown is exellent value for money but I've only ever had the set menu meals, the ones with about four courses, they start at about 12 quid a head and the quality and service are very good.

It's gorgeous there. My stomach is rumbling thinking about it!
We even got doggy bags to take home.
The lady who runs the place keeps everyone on their toes and the service is excellent.

Sounds fab.. we're going tomorrow night so now I've read this I'm looking forward to it even more :D

I been several times and took family and friends - no complaints about the place - if anything they give you too much food and the staff are the most friendly and cheerful I have ever come across in a restaurant...
