over 40 :P
leviathan13 02-06-2007, 12:08 PM I know it's not a pint, but the best value drink I've found in Sheffield is a double JD & Coke in the Nelson. It's only £3 most of the time, but between 6-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays it's £2. Plus the music is awesome too.
motnosbor 02-06-2007, 01:36 PM yeah nonna's is a complete ripoff. why pay more than usual just to look rich, i mean come on they could have at least put nonna's somewhere nice in town instead of one of the main roads of sheffield. cheapest pint: €1.20 in sardegna.
theimposter 02-06-2007, 06:56 PM Cheapest pint---"Grill bar" Pancrac, Prague...40p for the local Pilsner Urquell...£2 for 5 pints!!! This was 2003 though!
And yes I did stay in a place called Pan Crac!
sexkitten 03-06-2007, 09:03 PM Not sure about a pint but Tequila on West St charge £2.80 for a vodka and coke. Ridiculous.

SparklyShoes 03-06-2007, 09:55 PM i went in with my boyfriend the other week and he was drinking pints of fosters for £2.60 i think..so dont think that is true..he also said the pints had considerably improved in comparison to the ones they served in kingdom!!
Wodoish!!! 03-06-2007, 10:40 PM Hasn't this thread already done the rounds????
Carmine 04-06-2007, 12:14 PM The last time I went in Nonna's I didn't even get the chance to pay £3.95 for a drink, they just ignored me until my wife and I decided to leave.
Has anyone else had that kind of experience in there?

Not in my world, I'm used to paying £1.10 or £1.50
carcrash 04-06-2007, 02:03 PM Runaway girl £3 for a peroni, works out at about £5 per pint
Bilge 04-06-2007, 03:03 PM Any bottled lager usually works out at least 4 quid a pint. People keep buying 'em though - all for the privilege of waving a beer advert around. Fools.

One of the reasons for the success of bottled beer is that it is still socially unacceptible for men to drink halves - but is acceptible to drink bottled beers.
Anyway - back on topic - I'm sure one of the hotel bars will win on the price of a pint.
Duvell 04-06-2007, 03:49 PM i heard that its over £4 for a pint in the new nightclub, embrace. But not sure if this is true or not.....?
Hmm.... not to sure about that, i think it was around £3.40 for a bottle, probably the same for a pint.
I did buy 5 bottles of that VK stuff, cost about £17 for the round.
Always find MUSE bar to be quite expensive, £3.10 for a stella, although the quality is prob the best on West Street.
