i dunno why i have the compulsion to write this on here being as i got him from here from olliekitten, i thought it only right.

we got him nearly 10 months ago and hes been knocked down by a police car about an hour and a bit ago and hes died.

im absolutley gutted i did put a thread on here asking for another cat but im going to have it closed, my cat was the "dippiest rat catching waking me up in the middle of the nite for a cuddle" cat!!!

i hope to post a few pictures provided by the gorgeous olliekitten and even tho i can hardly type for the tears i just wanna say he was a ******* great cat!  :loopy: :hihi:

What can u do? i can either sit here crying my little heart out or i can think about how good his short little life was! its just heart breaking, well it is to me i was one of those people who half scoffed at people whos animals died but he made such an impact on our family he was the first one at the bowl and the first one in bed we will miss him so much

Life becomes an exercise in paranoia if you spend the whole time looking at how you can reduce the risks to your loved ones (human and furry). There comes a point at which you just have to get on with life, living and enjoying things.

You have absolutely no proof that he'd live for 20 years even if you'd have kept him inside and let him trash the place instead. One of my cats died suddenly aged 3 without explanation, and another died of cancer aged 7. Both would have died whether I allowed them out or not. As it is I can look back and know that they had happy lives with lots of love off lots of people.

I'd wish the same for everyone and everything that I care for.

Oh what a shame. :( If you believe in karma and everything like me you'll know you'll see him again in another life. It's crazy how much little creatures affect our lives. I think about my two cats I had when I was young almost daily! I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you and that is very special.

I'm really sorry, littlestarshine :( . Jess was a beautiful cat. That's the name of my black and white mog too. I just had to go and give him a big hug, which is what I'm sending you too xx.

Am very sorry for your loss. Take comfort from the fact that you gave Jess more love in those few months than some cats have in their whole lives. Jess will be waiting patiently for you on Rainbow Bridge and you will get those cuddles again xxx

I have only just seen this. I am so sorry, he was so lovely. I remember watching him grow from a little weakling, in to tiny terror.
