No idea about lessons but you can find some information on pilates, including how you can do it easily at home, at http://www.practise-pilates.com/.

My Girlfriend goes a Pilates class in Millhouses, at the methodist church next to the Robin Hood pub. Think she found out about it on a website called something like 'the best of sheffield' so there might be one on there closer to you...

I think they do yoga at the Hallemshire tennis and squash place on Ecclesall Road. Not sure which night though, sorry.

Yes. The Kenwood Centre at Nether Edge does Pilates classes. Or is that S7? Can't remember

Don't they still do pilates at Greystones School on a Thursday night?

Use to go there about a year ago now and always enjoyed it.

Hi,
I teach yoga privately in a small studio in S11 or we have a school about 10 minutes walk from Hunters Bar (London Road).

The Hunters Bar Buddhist Centre only do meditation I am afraid but Walkley B C (a bit of a walk/bus ride from S11) do classes every Thursday night (beginners and advanced ashtanga).

Hope this helps.

There is a pilates class at Greystones School on a Tuesday evening - small and informal - term time only starts at 7ish, don't know whether you have to book or just turn up. Catherine is the instructor and i believe only has a small number of folk at a time.

Molly,
Sorry, its the Walkley Buddhist Centre.

There are two classes - both Thursday pm.

1). General - 19:30 - 20:30;
2). Experienced - 20:45 - 22:00;

Although they run courses, you can join at any time.

Classes at Green's gym on Napier Street. Also seen notices at studio on corner of street by Mister Carpet on Ecclesall Road opposite Berkley Centre. Studio is on side road, but can't remember what it's called!

there's a chap called Andy Nice who does two-to-one sessions on Rustlings Rd. Very good, but will costs £22 a session and he is very busy - but worth a try as he will give you a programme that suits your needs

Nick,
Hi I do three introductory yoga courses in Sheffield on a Monday (09:30)/ Tuesday (20:00)/Thursday (18:00). The courses are 5 weeks long and introduce people to yoga (from all sorts of other back grounds but interested in being active!).

Does that help?

The Tues/Thurs pm courses are at Yoga Shala and the Mon at the Buddhist Centre (Walkley).

I can also do 1-2-1/2's from my studio at home/your home!
