I need to move to another area for schooling reasons so am renting out my 2 bedroomed house. It is a fairly small house backing onto a park with good sized garden and space on front for off road parking. It has shower room upstairs and another toilet downstairs. It has central heating and I will be getting double glazing over the next year. It will be mainly furnished although the kitchen is very basic. Living room and small dining kitchen. Understairs storage area and storage near the downstairs toilet.

Bizarre request I know but I have 2 dogs that I may not be able to take to rented accomodation. If the new tenant would take on the dogs until such a time that I can have them back, I will let the house for £250 per month plus all bills.

If the house is let without the dogs, and I will be giving preference to anyone who would be interested in taking on my dogs then the rent is £350 per month.

Bond and refs required.

What kind of dogs are they and would they eat Yorkies?

LOL. They are bull terriers and it would probably not be a good idea to have them with other dogs. They are very friendly but I would not want to risk a situation where your dogs got hurt and mine were punished. thanks anyway.

Hi

It's Parson Cross, Lindsay Road and I will be clearing and painting the house over the next week or so. Moving in would be open to discussion.

sorry to bother you with all these questions.

i was just wondering what the area is like? i currently live in parson cross but dont know that are very well. I was also wondering how long the contract would be for and what furnishings are included?

we also wouldn't mind keeping the dogs, but are they friendly and house trained?

Hi, I am interested in the property unfurnished if possible, not really too keen on the dogs though as I have two children and they haven't been around dogs but if it is for a short time I could cope as long as they are friendly etc. I will pm you and leave my number if you would like to chat. I am a working single parent and already live quite close but am looking for that area not too far from Ecclesfield primary school.

UPDATE
I have decided to make alternative arrangements for my dogs so the house will be going without them.

Hi
See below for dogs. House now to be rented out without them.

The area is fine, most of the houses are privately owned and we don't have any trouble on here. I would rent initially on a 6 month contract with a view to extend. The house is definately available for 2 years as I am tied in with my mortgage for that long. I may continue to rent after this time depending on circumstances and tenant.
The house has 3 piece suite, portable breakfast bar, washer, fridge, double bed in master bedroom and childs futon bunk in smaller bedroom. There are curtains in the bedrooms and living room. Welsh dresser in kitchen and a few units.
I will be having the property double glazed before winter and a new kitchen put in over the next year.
The house has central heating.

HI

It doesn't have a drive as such however there is space for 2 cars shoud someone wish to use it for this. I have put enough slabs down for my car and pull it over the verge.

The neighbours keep themselves to themselves. There is a little boy next door however and he plays out in the nice weather. It has a shared path to one side.

The house is in need of some work which I will undertake over the next year. Double glazing to be done within 6 months, new kitchen to be done within the next year. Needs redecorating. I will paint it all prior to letting unless someone wants to decorate it to their own tastes (within reason) themselves. Other than that it is fine. There are no structural problems or damp.

I do not mind children and would agree to pets by prior arrangement and certain conditions. I am happy for someone to redecorate and hang pics etc but no structural alterations.

Hi Sorry would prefer non DSS

hi,my friend already rents a property on that road near the top end with double glazing and fitted kitchen etc across from the first stretch of new houses and only pays £55per week furnished.i am working but only service (meals on wheels)at 16hours per week, although not dss am entitled to housing benefit rebate.would be willing to pay upfront every month as long as paperwork could be filled in for me to receive the cheque from them.not interested in furniture or decorating as i would happily do that myself(within your guidelines)i am of good character and can provide references from employers and friends.i have access to 3 children but only on a weekend basis.i know this falls below what you are asking but if you dont ask you get less no's!

No, as stated the rent is £350 per month which is reasonable. What your friend pays would not cover my mortgage. I am renting as I need to move to Oughtibridge where I will be paying over £500, not for profit and what you have offered would not cover my mortgage.

Hi

This is nothing personal. I am renting the house to cover the mortgage so I can move elsewhere. I'm not in a financial position to wait for the money.

If I am unable to let the house to someone who can pay the rent themselves then I may consider DSS but as it stands at the moment I am giving preference to someone who will be paying the rent themselves. It's not a case of giving someone a chance it's about giving myself one.
