DJ GOLDENFLEECE on the decks from 7pm to Midnight both Friday and Saturday (venue closes 0030) with the BEST in classic rock/metal, blended with the current rock chart and anthems from the past rocking YOUR world! We really know how to get you in the mood for clubbing at the Corporation or to check out the new Rebels MK 2 every weekend, and you can bet your best Metallica limited edition T shirt we will do our best:)

Don't forget, if you want to hear it, I will play it, so don't forget to try me out with those playlists, so if I have it, its played.. No messing about and excuses like "try and squeeze it in later maybe", if I do have it and it meets the format for the night (ie rock, dont ask me for Kylie songs!!!) , it rocks the house;)

Our truly ultra efficient Bar team is lead by Dawn and myself, supported by MATT, KAYLEIGH, LISA, OLIVER, ROSS, GARY (daytime Bar manager), VICKI, KIRSTIE, TERRY, NICK, et al, and they will serve you your drinks faster than a Slayer track....

We now have our new extended stage/raised seating area, which is great for live music shows, and plenty of those up and coming, getting bigger and better all the time. Our rear beer garden is under development and will be opening in just a few weeks, plus many more refinements being completed over the nest few weeks as well, all designed to make your experience even better. :P

Have been reliably informed that the new Scorpions CD is also pretty good but havnt heard it yet myself.

I shall have to buy it and also the new Ozzy as cant download songs at the moment due to some virus.

The new Scorpions title HUMANITY HOUR is released on 28th May......I have an advance promo copy which I may be playing later, although not had a chance to listen to it yet....

That new Ozzy album is very infectious, can't stop playing it at home today, 3rd time now.......

Most definitely play the new Scorpions album, I was playing it last month to the crowd at the Moorfoot before it was released and it went down a storm! I play tracks from it every week.

I don't rate the new Magnum album much though. Avoid!

Summer? really? Oh well, despite the damp weather, we rock all weekend at the Dove and Rainbow. It may not be quite the weather yet for bikinis in our new beer garden, but the fun starts from 7pm tonight, with 5 hours of non stop rock and metal, classic and new, you name it, we play it.......and some new ales as well, the amazing SCARECROW Ale which is tops, and a welcome back to the FRUIT BEER on draught, which is back by popular request. Plus of course, BLACK SHEEP, HOBGOBLIN, CUMBERLAND, GREENE KING IPA, THEAKSTONS, and other guest ales..........ROCK ON..
