This looks really helpfull if you've never done a long race like myself!

a FULL 16 week programme, from a 10K run to a marathon!!

So the Great Run organisation opens up another franchise.
They are getting to be the McDonalds of running.
Why not support a local race run by the many athletics clubs in Yorkshire?

I would do when I come across one that I can get to (not doing other stuff) andthat will have a decent number of plodders (I dont want to be left behind by *everyone*!).

My sentiments exactly. Most of the runners in the clubs are O.K. but they do not take account of us plodders & walkers & it puts me of from going.

A fellow plodder? What sort of time you aiming for in 10km ?
I'm a shade under an hour @ 58-60 minutes...if you're around the same and in Hillsborough...
