Anyone seen any offers around lately?
I want a Core 2 duo machine (pref 2.13GHz) with min 1gb Ram and 300gb HD with a graphics card that'll support dual DVI output (i.e. two monitors), for like it says - £500
Also needs to be Quiet!....The Fans in my P4 HT machine are sooooooo noisy, you cant hear the tv over them. Its like a jet engined PC in the front room!
Im only interested in the tower, no monitor or keyboard nonsense required!

I've just put together a couple of sets of components to build a PC to your specs. and I think as a one off meeting your requirements within a £500 budget is going to be difficult.

and thats just a quick spec put together with ebuyer in 2 mins, £500 is plenty assuming you can build your own computer , otherwise you will struggle to get that spec and value in a prebuilt machine

250gb HD
256Mb ATI Radion X1300 Pro DVI & VGA
DVD RW

^ but thats a dell computer LOL
If you can use ebuyer to get all the parts seperatly, like has been said its a lot cheaper and you can get exactly what you want :)
plus the EBuyer one has a better spec GFX Card, more HDD Space, is probably much quieter to...
im in the middle of speccing my self a new system up...ebuyer will definatly be used, great prices

Too much hassle building my own, anyway if i dont like it i'll send it back!
The effort the Indian lady put into selling me it was worth the money alone :hihi:
wouldnt reccomend a DELL dekstop to anyone tbh lol
and with my recent experiences of buying a mobile contract from Three, I am more than hesitant to recommend Glasgwegians and Indians as reliable sources for making capital purchases of this nature :)
Just to echo the thoughts of people above: buy the components not the dell, use the £40 you save to get someone to throw it together for you.
Don't buy a PC - Buy a MAC!
