There's also an Irish fellow called the King, who does Elvis Presley versions of modern and rock tracks.

muddycoffee 21-07-2007, 23:31 Black Crowes - Greatest Hits
greatest hits is a misselling
of, " havent bought or lstened to all the wonderful tracks are the essence of the band, let alone seen them live"
"Shake your money maker"
"Southern harmony and music maker"
and if you are still in the mood get "lions"
don't bother with any other recordings because they are a very poor representation of the band's work.
:)

Timbaland Shock Value, amazing!
TonyTheYid 22-07-2007, 18:05 "Wild Hope" By Mandy Moore.
Really am a huge fan of her recent stuff (Not when she was a Britney Clone). This album is just brilliant - my favourite of the year. It's very much a cross between Joni Mitchell, KT Tunstall & Sarah Mclachlan.

Album in Mum's car is Joseph and his amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Jason Donovan.
Bought it the other week in preparation for going to see Lee Mead in Joseph down in London in September.

EdnaKrabappe 29-07-2007, 15:16 At the moment I can't turn off Absolute Garbage..... I've got the hook line from 'Queer' going round and round in my head all the time (Which is great as it's been the Enemy Away from here for sooo long!) alternating with Milk... Although i've got all the other albums it was definitely a good buy as it's got the remix album and two new tracks on it as well:thumbsup:
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing.
Soon to be followed by Modest Mouse "We were dead before the ship even sank".
Bomberman 29-07-2007, 17:03 No CD player anymore, just mp3's. But, my current Winamp playlist is;
Morrissey - You are the Quarry.
^^ Modest Mouse! Awesome :D **** Luck is one of my all time favourite tracks.
redrobbo 29-07-2007, 17:05 Sam's Town by The Killers.
My thanks to a forum member for lending me her copy of another Killer's album - which I shall be playing shortly!
Speaking of Steve Hackett JoeP, that's when Genesis started to slide, when he left rather than Gabriel IMO. :)
I would agree - Hackett's always been under-rated IMO.
Currently in the office CD player is Johnny Cash's 'The legend of Johnny Cash' - a best of from his earliest recording up to 'Hurt'.
Grim Reaper 29-07-2007, 17:40 The Cult - Pure Cult
