I work at the side of Morrisons in what used to be the old hospital. Must admit a bit eerie first thing in the morning or if working late, but not seen anything. However, it is part built on the old crematorium site of the barracks.:o

although I think it's more to do with the fact that its all 2nd rate stuff thats been chilled for too long or too cold. I've never managed to use a whole kilo of carrots before they turn to mush.....

To be fair, there are some good bargains to be had, if you stay away from the 'fresh' produce...

Theres a fruit and veg shop just down by boots, I get most of my fresh stuff from there now, and its top....

It's murder trying to get round the fruit and veg section on a friday morning.....and another thing i hate is the freezers are at the beginning so my stuff has always defrosted before I get round the shop.

This thread appears to be departing from the original subject, how ghosts and ghouls can change into soggy carrots and poor vegetable produce, I do not know, but there must obviously be some connection!!!!!!

By employing a wally as the manager of section (if it's still same one) then again, so are most of the managers and upper management there. Spoken from experience and disgust. You don't fit in if you haven't threatened, insulted or cheated someone at that place and that goes right to the top too.:suspect:

It is haunted by the ghost of a bus driver who choked on a potato there in 1991. He comes out every night, defocates on the ground and then leaves.

my nan used to work for sheffield insulations (the building at the top of morrisons) and one afternoon she saw the ghost of a young soldier wearing a red jacket and white trousers in the corridor. all the soldiers were based there in the barracks.

My father in law worked on the electrics in the church that used to be on the site there, he said that although he never saw anything he heard some really weird things and always felt like somone/thing was around.
