View Full Version : Imran Khan wins 2nd World Title
stussonicos 21-05-2007, 10:19 Imran Khan fought and beat Seangatit 'Boo' Sasiprapa last night to gain his 2nd World Title. Imran won on points over 5 rounds
Seangatit is a very experienced and tough Thai fighter from the Sasiprapa gym in thailand and was the 2002/2003 Rachadamnern champion.
Anyone who knows Imran will understand how hard he has trained for this fight (only having 1 weeks rest before starting training after fighting at the Octagon last month) and also how much winning this title will mean to him, his family and friends at Wicker Camp.
Well done Imran, you deserve this.
Good stuff. He just goes from strength to strength! I'd love to know where he finds his strive and motivation.
Well done :)

Not being disrespectful, but it makes you wonder what kind of state the sport is in (kickboxing as well as muay thai) where people can "collect " world title belts in such a short space of time.
The actual number of "world sanctioning bodies" in both sports is unreal i.e. worse than boxing.
MMA have managed to keep it together so far with high scale promotions such as UFC , PRIDE and CAGE RAGE.
The usual dig at the Wicker Camp.Training along side Imran a couple of times a week and seeing his total focus and commitment I find it offensive to suggest he is "collecting" titles. Imran would fight anybody put before him and trains and fights 110%. How many world titles have you or AFK fighters "collected".

Dont be so stupid! "USUAL" whats usual about that? when did i dig at wicker camp. The dig was at both thai and kickboxing and the titles situation from a neutral stand point. I am one of Haji Imran's biggest fans !
Pick your brain out of the toilet and read this thread.

Enjoy ,.....
The new era of combat sports.
llll_fb_llll 06-06-2007, 14:21 I'd agree that there are a lot of thai/kickboxing organisations out there
and it seems that the titles have reduced in value over the years.
But I'd like to see someone try and win Imran's belts from him. He 's worked hard for them and has more than enough skill and talent to deserve them.
A credit to Thaboxing and Sheffield.
jermaine 08-06-2007, 14:45 Well done Imran.
