Just got back from seeing this film.....it's amazing....unreal graphics....very funny and a decent storyline, after a while i actually forgot i was watching a "cartoon" really really enjoyed it.
It is quite a grown up film in a way so all the family can enjoy it,it is great fun.....go see it.
Deano
How long does it last for.
Rosie
think the quoted running time is 1hr 55mins,it is longer than i thought it would be.
Loved it too [saw it yesterday]. Animation and story line fab. Wasn't sure what to make of the short Pixar film before it though. Most bizarre !!!
There is a space on my DVD rack just waiting to be filled :D

Yeah, saw this on Sunday and it was excellent, especially Elastigirl... :D Possibly better than Shrek...
That Pixar short was great, that sheep boundin' along was infectious!
Looking forward to seeing this with my boys.
I know Pixar are not the be all and end all of animation - see the incredible 'Spirited Away' for an experience that comes from a very different universe - but their consistency has been phenomenal. With all the pressures that must be exerted on them by Disney, their commitment to putting an excellent script at the heart of everything they do has got to be admired.
The moment in Toy Story 2 when Woody comes across a giant model of himself for the first time still makes me catch my breath and 'get something in my eye'. Ahem.

I'm really looking forward to this one - its only recently that I saw finding nemo and loved that - along with the Shreck and Toy Story set. Pixar seem to be able to do the 'Simpsons thing' of having a complex two layered story that is both accessible for children but has enough in it for adults and they also seem to be able to do that rarest of things at the moment - they can do pathos and emotion without turning it into stomach-turning schmaltz!

They really do have a 'Simpsons thing' happening on this one. The writer/director/actor of The Incredibles is Brad Bird, one of the directors and an executive consultant on The Simpsons.

If you like The Incredibles (saw it on Sunday, possibly film of the year for me), then do check out The Iron Giant, Brad Bird's previous film. Absolutely blimmin marvellous it is.
Its not as good as Shrek 1/2 but its not bad...
My daughter got a little bored about half an hour into it but i was glued to the screen :hihi: . She soon became transfixed again and nearly 2 hours flew past.
Great film, leaves all the others in it's wake IMO
