Have you seen it? They make a life size Skoda out of cakes and sweets! It's amazing!! You can see it on the Skoda website if you havn't seen it :)

You need to watch the documentary on this site (http://www.newfabia.co.uk/) ! Think they said it was a week, with 3 days alone for the Rice-crispy panels :P

About a third of the way into the documentary they flash up the ingredients list for the car. Yum :P

That documentary is fantastic, lol, I'd love to have a job where you got a call saying 'Yeah, we want to make a cake car' and you wouldn't just assume it was some drunk :hihi:

Great advert- not good for the diet though! Just made me want to eat a bit of cake after seeing it!

well it has nothing to do with cars at all (other than it looks like one at the end) but the advert obviously works coz we're all talking about it.

My daughter saw this ad tonight for the first time (yes i know she is a bit slow but doesnt watch much tv) and asked if they were going to put it on show and let every one eat it!

I thought it probably would be a bit stale now but it would have been a nice idea.

Fab advert, think it's far better than cars speeding through fields on fire and the usual rubbish car adverts we've had up to now.

Ask an AA man if they have to recover many skoda's and you might be eating your words.

The advertising has worked as there has been a lot of interest in the new Fabia, but the old one was a popular car anyway.

I say that any ads should have mini credits on the bottom of the screen at the end for music, and stuff.. like that skoda one.. it should credit the music used, and the bakery that made the thing..

my daughters asked for a cake like that for her birthday...of course dear:loopy: the cost poss £1000s and we would never finish it. great ad though rush to tv whenever its on.

It is funny but it is an advert that i can remember what it is for. So it works, and i also think is a great ad.

And at college the other day one of the girls said she was having a new car and when we asked what sort she told us a cake car and amazingly we all knew what it was.

the cake car cost over £500,000 and they couldn't eat it because after it'd been under the lights for a few days it'd gone off. The kept the skoda badge from the front though and the people in the ad who are shown baking and building it are the actual people who baked and built it.

I think it's the best advert I've ever seen!
