I know this seems a bit daft but I watched Gladiators the other night and I realised just how crap TV has become! Channels are full of reality rubbish, dieting drab and boring other stuff!
I would like to place a request for Hallam Fm, god bless their souls, to start a campaign to bring back Gladiators- the most brilliant and entertaining show that was on TV (followed brilliantly by Blind Date).
I'm sure that someone must be able to help me in my campaign to bring back fun and relaxing TV instead of the new rubbish that creates fear, misery and anxiety!

tv is crap nowadays yes, unless you watch extreme makeover of course :D Gladiators was good but i'm not sure about blind date. There are too many programs that are food / weight related now although I suppose it helps to make the public more aware.
The odd thing about blind date is that the people on it were the people least likely to actually watch it, on account of them being out on Saturday night not sat in the house watching TV.
Gladiators rocked.
I was in love with Jet and Lightning on it
Mmm, Diane Youdale... I would.

the wolf made me laugh nearly every time, i agree about jet and lightning rich. but i cant see gladiators ever coming back.
I once got an opportunity to go to a Gladiators taping at the NIA in Birmingham, but it was the same weekend as my Brother was down from Sunderland Uni, so I passed it up in favour of seeing him as I'd not seen him for ages.

Maybe there is a market for pensionators :D
Why Hallam FM?
Probably so that they could have it taped from the Hallam FM Arena if it did come back.
It's a bit more local than the NIA in Brum you see.

We've been watching this on Freeview too; perhaps the most entertaining bit is trying to work out which ones Ulrika was sh*gging at the time.
