I almost bought this tv a few weeks ago. Good specs, the HDMI connector is a bonus, nice looking. Only thing 'wrong' is that it doesn't have a freeview tuner built-in.
Instead I have pre-ordered this (http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3348756/LG-M228WA-22-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor-With-TV-Tuner/Product.html). I was one of the lucky ones who got in at £199.99 before the price went up. It doesn't have freeview either, but the extra 3 inches and higher resolution seemed worthwhile compared to the Wharfedale. Relies on the DVI connector for HD because it doesn't have an HDMI though.
At least if you buy one from Argos it's easy to take back if you change your mind!
Have a look at this which I got by Googling the TV name.

thanks for that. I'm just wondering if that is a good price for that tv as ive had a look at a few others which are similar and they seem much more. Are Wharfedale a good brand for televisions?
Agos own brand I believe
I got the 37ins one for £400 my son has the Samnsung 37ins Lcd in his bedroom (he works for Argos) Honestly the Samsung looks the better design but for the life of me I can see no difference in the picture quality.
Wharfedale used to make great speakers if its the same company,
but really only you can decide if its a good deal. compare prices and if yo ucan try and see it running , if not then take advantage of argos' return policy. if your spending that amount of money on a tv then check asda, big w, tesco and places in town like tj hughes, cex, etc etc
