I'm trying to run Tomtom version 6 on my Nokia N73 using this GPS Bluetooth device.

My N73 after a short while puts itself into a low power state which disconnects it. The software runs fine and allows me to put an addess in works for a short time then goes into the low power state/sleep mode if no buttons are pressed. This means if you are driving along and it goes into sleep mode you have to start pressing buttons to make it reconnect which is very distracting and hence I havent used it. The tomtom software allows you to enable the backlight via a tick box to keep it lit up but the phone seems to be over riding this.

I have tried to change the settings to stop it doing this but there doesnt seem to be an option to switch the low power state off while I use it.

Any ideas?

i wonder if your tom tom has a problem ,can you put your memory card with the tom tom on into another phone? or another tom tom into your phone.

The tom tom software should take complete priority over your phone settings when its in user mode.
I've got tomtom 6 and used it in an n73 and now in an n80 and never had any of those problems you described.

Where did you get the tomtom software from?
