Anyone know of anywhere in Sheffield where I could sell some of my albums?

Theres a cash converters in Hilsborough that buy CDs.

last time i went to cash converters they would give you 1quid per cd and 10p per cd single, no matter of what album, what age, what artist.

take anything really bad to cash convertors and anything any1 would have heard off on ebay.

if you wait for a free listing day you can put them all on for a 1.50 each and see how it goes. (download turbolister for this so you dont have to do all the adverts in one go)

failing that there is (was?) a stall at bottom of the moor that would buy videos/cds/dvds.

Rare and Racy on Devonshire Green used to. Sure they still do...

Record Collector in Broomhill. They've got a great collection of second hand CD's. The best I've ever seen. They'll even let you swap your albums for other second hand stuff if you want to do that.

Does anyone have a rough idea how much they'd buy them for?

Depends what they are. Anything between 1 quid and 4.50 for an album. Depends on how rare it is and what condition its in.
