Hi,

I bought some tea tree seeds off ebay that I am just getting round to planting. I am going to start them in the propegator then get them outside hopefully by late summer. I have just been reading about how to make a hedge with TT which'll be great (and different).

Has anyone ever given this a go? Have you got any tips?

Also, I have read that their oil is toxic to cats and dogs. Is there a danger of my dog, or the neighbours cat, eating the bush and getting sick?

Do you know where the seeds came from? I'd love some tea tree seeds. Not bothered about a lot but would like to grow some on the old allotment.

How very interesting. Let us know what happens. I have used tea tree cream & oil for years. Also Tea Tree handwash & shampoo. I just love the smell of it.

Me too, but having read about it risks to dogs I'm worried now :(
