Although they often have a trance room or Djs, the main room at Uprising is mainly hardcore - Sharkey, Hixxy, MC Mateyboy and more baseball hats that you can shake a UV stick at!

i remeber Paul-O and M-zone very well from back in the hardcore days, these were both regulars at Uprising, but i can guarantee you that they hardly ever played trance. Not sure what they play now, but 10 years ago they were fully hardcore, happy haprdcore.

Not sure what uprising plays now but if was deffo a hardcore night.

'Raves' as you put it should be consigned to history along with flares and platform shoes (different decade, just as embarrassing).

E'd up loons in white gloves, waving glow sticks, blowing whistles and bouncing around to music being played at 160bpm with Pinky and Perky vocals should never be witnessed again.
