It depends on the spec of your laptop. Also, the aerials that come with these sticks can be very poor.

I have something like this for my lappy. It's not a stick it's a USB box with a Di-pole that sticks to the window. It cost me £35 and i've NEVER had anything through it. It maybe my area but i have tried it in Skeggy and a few other places and never had any picture only odd radio station.

You can find reviews of them in computer shopper or other pc mags. They generally get decent reviews, obviously depending on the software implementation and how good the hardware actually is.
The terratec brand is the one that consistently wins though.

I was down in London the other week and used one of these on my laptop, i got about 15 tv channels with that little ariel, so if you live in a strong signal area (not Sheffield) then its deffo worth it :hihi:
