My partner has recently proposed (after 8 1/2 years together I should think so too lol!!) and naturally I want to have a party to celebrate! I could do with some venue ideas, if anyone knows of anywhere suitable? Nothing too fancy, as we have 3 children, and very reasonably priced, in the North Sheffield area?

we had our own bbq in our garden and invited about 60 people round.it was really good as everyone mucked in and helped cook and brought loads of booze!just an idea as its doesnt cost as much!

I love this idea! sadly our back garden isnt big enough to swing a hamster sob!

what about parents house?
our garden wasnt that big either, ppl scattered around the house and garden and not everyone came at once so there was a continous flow throughout the day. really enjoyed it.....hope my wedding day runs as smoothly!

my mums isnt very big either, i did consider asking a friend as his is huge, but sadly he's having a lot of work done and its like a building site, sob!
