There's Pooles Cavern, Five Ways Cafe And Laundrette, The Pavilion Gardens, The Slopes, and a water fountain where you can stock up on Buxton water for free. Lickszz 17-11-2004, 23:03 I'm sure there is a nice park in Buxton. c_datexpress 18-11-2004, 10:27 I went the other week - bit dreary i have to say. Not really what i was expecting. The Pavillion Gardens were nice but I reckon a summers day is probably more condusive to 'having fun' there!! Some dodgy shops and blue-rinse cafes. Did manage to find a really great little antique book shop and a small wine bar which was alright and served reasonable coffee!! Have fun! modern-retro 23-11-2004, 12:51 Thank you all. I decided to put it off until the summer. |
