Incredimail is slowly getting on my nerves - so my question is - i want to change to Outlook Express
The problem is I have
Loads and Loads of folders and sub folders which also have "message rules" to filter them in,
Address book with 2 different "groups"
I want to be able to move to outlook without setting is all up again - can it be done!
Thanks
Amanda
You should be able to export all contacts and messages across.
File > Import etc :)
I cant even find Outlook express - i thought all pc's had it on!!
I can only export from incredimail - contacts only!
download it from microsoft site i think!!
Go to Control Panel/Add-Remove Programmes. On left hand side of Add-Remove there is a button, Add-Remove Windows components. Click there and then you can enable/disable Outlook Express and other windows crap like Messenger. It is part of the OS, so if it's not there..?!?!?!
This is XP BTW.
Thanks, I have managed to do it.
Soon found where Outlook was (under add windows programs) but i still had the problem with incredimail exporting.
Found a interesting website that gave me a downloadable program to convert the emails to be able to read into outlook.
Well it took me 5 hours to do - I so hope its worth it all now!!

You should consider changing to Mozilla Thunderbird - far superior to Outlook Express.
In what way???
The problem i had with incredimail is the dam thing kept shutting down - loads of emails where getting bounced cos of virus checkers - I think its that anoying thing that attaches to the bottom of the email.
The managing the address book was coming a nightmare too
I just want to be able to send a monthly email to 3 different "groups" be able to change a email from one group to another (which isnt that easy in outlook either).
Set up message rules so emails come into different folders!
Im sure i will get on fine with Outlook express now!

Or better still change your browser to Opera and use the extremely efficient integrated E-mail client it offers.
Not only will you get the most secure browser for windows but also a great e-mail client all in one!

But I do agree Outlook Express should be your last resort, it's too targetted by hackers (just like Internet Explorer) to be used with any real confidence.:suspect:
