Ive just been out with Tilly and on our way home walking along Wisewood Avenue there was a little dog off lead running towards us.
It looked like a Border Terrier type of dog but it was black with specks of grey.
He had a red collar on but as I was with Tilly I couldnt get close enough to see if there were any details on it. Plus he was growling and trying to nip at her legs whilst she was hiding behind mine!

I had to try and walk away and he eventually ran across Hallowmoor Road and down the other part of Wisewood Avenue.

Im just wondering if this dog is somebodies pet and has run off? I would hate to think of somebody worrying about where he is?
If not then the owner really should have kept a better eye on him and kept him more secure as he really frightened my dog!

Thanks for the replies.
Like Gem1987 says, the dog doesnt look thin or uncared for and definately not as though he has been roaming the streets for 3 months like the one in the thread posted by Gemima.

If his owner does just let him roam free then I really wish they wouldnt, he ran straight across Hallowmoor Road and could easilly have been hit by a car or bus as its a main road :(

The dog that is missing may not have been roaming the streets for three months, someone could have been feeding him or taken him in thinking it was a stray?

Worth ringing just to check. ;)

I have tried to call them several times but no answer :(
I have sent them a message though, so we'll wait and see!
