Thought I'd put the feelers out for a rabbit hutch. I need one on legs, and also require it to be of a reasonable size as I intend to adapt it and extend it to build a ferret mansion!

Hi I would def recommend sheffield freecycle as they keep cropping up on a regular basis. I know there are at least a couple of forummers who are involved in rabbit/ guinea pig rescue so just a thought/question aimed at these benevolent individuals...do you ever need spare hutches and if so, is it worth me keeping an eye out on frecycle in case anymore come up ?

have pm'd you. We have a spare hutch, 4ft but a little old. Will need cleaning and the legs tightening up. Live in Lowedges area.

Thanks for all your helpful tips and suggestions, I DID try freecycle, and ended up with over a thousand emails in my inbox! lol I have since tried to change settings to avoid this.
I have also managed to miss the rabbit hutch for sale in the classifieds section - but I will try and find it too!

This shortcut http://www.petsathome.com/invt/8024 shows the hutch as new. Can't show an image of ours. Our hutch is older and needs a good clean. You are still welcome to it, I will only be taking it to the tip.

I'll keep an eye out for you Sooz - we've got transport Its only a small car, but reckon if something about this size comes up and I win it, we can fit it in somehow (blimey we get enough IKEA flat-pack in it!) and get it to you. I'll keep checking xK
