View Full Version : Free 12 Months Cover - Petback - Missing Pets Bureau
Frolikalki 08-05-2007, 15:47 I have 12 of these to give away.
The case contains a free I.D tag for your dogs collar. Should your pet go missing, they issue a mass notification throughout officials, so that they are all aware immediately.
Full details and 12 months free cover with each tag. I got these at a dog fair. I actually chose to pay for my first year and now have cover for Kizzie for life. She is also covered (with DNA proof) in case of theft and dispute over ownership.
If anyone would like one, let me know.
thanks for been so kind :D
Can I wave my hand, please.
How long are they valid for?
Vicki
KATIEB_23 09-05-2007, 08:14 It says 12mths in the title ;)
Please could I have one if you have any left? :)
After the 12mths is up, how much does it cost to continue for life?
Thank you! xx
I paid a one off fee (but am actually paying in installments) of £149 for life cover including:
A signed declaration to say treat the animal for injuries sustained without being able to contact me (and you can declare how much you will allow them to spend on treating them if they can't contact you)
DNA profiling
as well as everything else it offers.
I have to say though, the service I've received from them is absolute crud. The first time I sent it all back they failed to file her DNA, then she lost her tag (you're supposed to get a free replacement) so I rang for another and haven't heard back from them.
In fact, the only time I have had any correspondence from them is when my credit card details changed and they couldn't get my money! Then they were on the phone straight away!
Frolikalki 09-05-2007, 17:36 Vicky - There's one on it's way to you (as per PM).
Katie - If you send me your address (via PM), I will get one out to you also.
I opted out of the free first year, and paid £99 (in £10 instalments), and therefore got the remainder of Kizzie's life for free. I have NEVER had any problem with MPB, and have always received a replacement disc when needed. Not quite sure how much it is after the first year, but know that at the time, it worked out a lot cheaper to pay one year than a lifetime's.

I also went with this offer it does say that any replacement tags have to be paid for but up to now I`ve had to have 2 new tags in just under 2 years never had to pay a penny more than the original £99.00.

I'm not dumb (well not all the time anyway) just wondered when it started from as we do not YET have th dog in question. Must revise my use of English I think.
Frolikalki 10-05-2007, 17:36 Vicky, Katie, Lisa and Samantha - Your pet discs are on their way to you as we speak. You should receive them within the hour.
That's the last of them folks... If you would like one, you can call them on
0800 0198 123, and request one.
Frolikalki 10-05-2007, 18:29 All delivered.
thanyou very mutch for mine:D
they quoted me nearly £300 to insure the cats- steep considering they never go out. Fortunately I got PetProtect with Pet plan but every so often, I get a couple of these free tags from Pets at Home and I ring up and get Alfie or one of the other cats covered for 12 months for free. Ailsa has life protection but I got a good deal on that at the time.
Thank you very much!
Best wishes to you and yours
Lisa
