Hi all

What do you think of Longley in general? A few people I know say they don't like it and it's a rough area. Personally I think it's a good area.

you can get rough houses on the councils estates, but its not as bad as people make out. brand new college up there that looks good

Thereare a good few Longley members on here and you may get different views.
This is mine.
I live in the best part of Longley, near to Herries Drive and moved here in 1987 and to be honest would not move.
I love it here and it leafy, near to a nice park and shops and a good school.
There are rough spots in Longley mainly due to the people that live there but not all the council side is rough by any means.
I have to be bias but I really do live in a nice area and you could do a hell of a lot worse than live here.

I agree with you there, I think Longley is a nice area also. Just someone I know is planning on moving and said she wouldn't live here rent free and it's a dump.
I'm just making a point that's all, so thanks for that.
