Maisey will explore the entirety of my garden and all its wonders but always seems to be drawn to goose grass. I try to stop her eating it, ut she has had a mouthful - is she in danger?

Thanks

hiya i wouldn't have thought so becuase lots of dogs eat it and they also eat nettles as well which are meant to be full of vitamins i'm gonna attach a page i just found and you can read it but don't worry i know its harmful to guinea pigs but thats about it

Thanks, thats a relief - I have been looking around google and apparently it has uses for humans too. I don't have any small furriesn so we're ok :)

Yeah, its me. She's just been down to the bottom of the garden where my OH is building and I let her eat them this time. No interest in the nettles though - might take the advice of that site and see if she likes them dried.

I found this as well http://lowchensaustralia.com/health/herbs.htm, can see me refering back to this a lot.

What's up with your doggy?

shes a nice looking dog just saw the pics yeah think i saw ur OH putting up some fencing yesterday while i was walking my dog as i walk down that way all the time when she stays with me. My post is the 5th one down from your called my dog in season if you have a read but she had a fit saturday and was shallow breathing i was right upset and she froze like she was dead its awful i hated it but if you read my post more info there now im starting to think she has that pyometra desease and its really upsetting me and im not sure whether shes too old to have her spayed or not? shes ok at the moment but a dog cant tell u how they are feeling taking her to the vets sometime this week dont wanna lose her

Yes, that was my OH, we have finally finished one side of the fence. He's building a greenhouse today. I'm suprised that if you got so close you weren't treated to Maisey's 'stay away from my land but let you dog come and play' bark.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dog - I missed the thread. Good luck with the vet, I hope its treatable. All the sites I have seen seem to think you can spey older dogs. 10s not so old for a dog that can live to 16.
