how do i get rid of wasps without paying the health and safety geeks to do it for me. there just above my front window it seams like theres a nest in the cavity? loads of wasps per day going in and out we cant have windows opened or owt please help!:help:

First, obtain a flamethrower.........

I suggest you contact the "geeks", apologise for calling them names and ask them for a quote for their expert advice and services.

Or, just stuff the cavity with newspaper and set fire to it. (Joke)

We had a wasp nest in the grass on the back garden last year. Did not realise till i ran lawn mower over it. My mate came over with some petrol and poured it on and set it alight.Once the fire went out. He then dug it out and poured more petrol on and burnt it again. He kept doing this till it was all gone.Not had no wasps since. Just be rady to run when you set the blighters alight. charlie

I cant remember the name but there are very good waspicide powders.

Puff it into the cavity and around the hole.
They tread it into the nest and kill others with it.

After a day or so, seal the holes up to stop the straglers getting in.

We had one a few years ago. I bought a can of fly spray, waited until dark, then sprayed the lot into the hole where the wasps were coming out of.

The next day the nest was a morgue.

Agree that would be easiest but kind of takes fun out of it! got to be rolled up newspaper to bring some extreme sports to the situation(surely cant more extreme than havin 1000 wesps chasing you up & down road) or i'm definately thinkin of some kind of fire:hihi: :hihi:

You can buy some kind of powder to put in the entrance of the nest, they then take it inside and eventually they will die out. I've tried crawling insect killer and that worked.
