Do you remember that fantastic television commercial of the early seventies asking us to Keep Britain Tidy?

It showed a high street totally covered in rubbish with no-one around except for the beliesha beacons flashing near the covered zebra crossing. (Okay, I'm not coming across brilliantly am I? It IS Monday morning!)

But I always thought the area resembled Hillsborough shopping centre, Holme Lane/Middlewood Road. I'd love to see the commercial - or more likely, government advice - once again.
