Reading the threads and posts on here its obvious that the war in Iraq is a major issue to a lot of people. Probably the party with the most critical stance on this are Respect. Looking at the polls from the elections the Respect party have been hammered by the mainstream parties and mini parties including the BNP.
Other issues like the environment are big talking points but the green parties only votes appear to be members of their own family and next door neihbours. If the environment and the war are important issues why did these two parties fair so badly.
Another puzzling thing was Labour being elected in Burngreave. Having worked in this area I think its safe to say there are a significant amount of muslims. Surely they wouldn't have voted for the party who's creating havoc in the middle east? Well they must have.
The Tories continued to be ignored. It's seen as an act of treason, in some areas, to vote for them. They might as well pack it in.
Well I dint know who to vote for, whatever happened to Kilroy?
